Self Guided Festival Tour Info
Creality’s Gascoyne Travelling Arts Festival is a six-week tour which spans 3000km. It’s a mobile, intergenerational, multicultural festival family which invites you into the world of Art Adventure Tourism!
Art Adventure Tourism is for the self-reliant audacious traveller who's ready to revel in short term communities of like-minded people, who know there’s more to life than being a consumer, and more in Art than a city can offer. Its ‘Situation Dining’ on the edge of world heritage marine parks, seasonal musters with loved ones on ancient landscapes, where natural beauty becomes the theatre framing multi-sensory art experiences. It's a convocation of eagles overhead, termite mounds and sunburnt selfies, being barefooted on a beach in black tie watching trapeze performed over water in the receding Wintersun. Making lifelong memories, new experiences and traditions; Moonlight bathing with meteor showers; a daily juggling jam or hula hooping for the first time since you were a child. It’s learning to paint in twilight, smoking ceremonies, fireside stories and new friends. It’s a departure from the mundane into a seasonal caravan of festival celebrations.
It’s the Gascoyne Travelling Arts Festival: One festival set over 6 weeks on a 2973km festival circuit of the Gascoyne region. All festivals feature ‘high arts in situ’, spectacle and the best of Dance, Circus, Comedy and Music.
