'Architects of Spectacle' in a four to seven- day community arts clinic that produces a large scale puppet for your next community celebration. A team of multi-skilled artists work with you to create puppets relevant to your place, or just something fantastic and nonsensical! From concept, through design, sourcing materials, puppet creation and animation: Our team delights in making magic happen for and with your community. 

Previous giant puppets created include Freda the Man-Eater, a ten-metre praying mantis puppet; Ocy a giant octopus stilt puppet with fully animated limbs; three giant Yellowfish; a 12-metre Mermaid; one large Mamma Emu and her two babies. Each is designed to be ‘stored & toured’, meaning that each puppet can be packed down and easily stored for future events, because we know how precious space is! 

Our project team can be scaled from one artist to an entire team who can perform fire, animate Creatura, our Fire Breathing Dragon Puppet, install and perform on aerial trapeze rigs, Stilt shows, basic sound and lighting, and so much more…
