‘Broadway of the Bush’ seasonal shows staged on Aboriginal Australia.
Resourcing deep roots, representatives of the five language groups of the Gascoyne share stories the world needs to hear. Salvaging song-lines, lost traditions, pride of place & connection to Country, Gascoyne Regional Treasures’ knowledge is captured, broadcast and celebrated.
Creality is committed to holding creative programs which span generations. This project links young people to old stories. By doing so Creality is committed to cultivate deep cycles of healing and enable new eras of cultural vibrancy. Broadway of the Bush will invigorate our souls, give us the strength to forgive the past, thrive in the present and to anticipate better futures; it's our way of capturing stories of the Gascoyne while supporting Gascoyne First Nations Artists on our team to thrive. Broadway of the Bush supports all mid-career and emerging aboriginal artists of the Gascoyne to create new works for the international stage. It includes a podcasts series, a new festival spectacle inspired by stories of ‘place’ as told by Gascoyne Cultural Treasures, fire sculpture and performance, contemporary dance, music, stilt acts and of course Storytelling!
